As we approach the five-year mark of a local real estate agent approaching us with an opportunity to invest in a rundown property in Florida, I find myself reflecting on our renovation journey. These past five years have been nothing short of remarkable. When we initially made the decision to invest in this community, little did we know that the onset of Covid-19 would disrupt construction schedules and financing, challenging our commitment.
Undoubtedly, the task of remodeling every inch of a neglected home is a demanding endeavor, yet we have embraced every step of the process with enthusiasm.
In celebration of this significant five-year milestone, I’d like to invite you to take a glimpse into our journey—where we began and where we currently stand in every corner of the home. Some areas have been beautifully renovated transformed, some are still in progress, and a few remain untouched. For each space, we’ve compiled a list of our accomplishments and outlined our future plans. Join us as we embark on this journey, starting with the exterior of The Cobblewood Project.
Front Yard
Before
Now
The yard had become overgrown and was casting a shadow over the house, calling for a rejuvenation. We take great pleasure in now having a clearer view of the home itself, while it remains beautifully framed by the lush greenery. With the generous rainfall in the Florida region, we anticipate that the greenery will flourish rapidly, enhancing the overall picture even more as time goes by.
